From objects to outcomes
Superfluoro began with a strong focus on kitchens and bespoke residential joinery.
As our projects became broader and more complex, so did our understanding of the work.
A kitchen is not simply cabinetry. A wardrobe does not exist independently of the room around it. Architectural joinery intersects with materials, stone, metal, lighting, appliances, services, manufacturing, site conditions and installation.
That experience expanded our focus from individual objects to the wider problem of realisation: how architectural intent is resolved, made and ultimately delivered as part of the architecture.
Three connected capabilities
Today, Superfluoro works across three connected areas.
Architectural Joinery
Bespoke architectural outcomes developed for the particular requirements of a project.
Systems
Resolved architectural ideas developed for repeatable application.
Design Lab
A place to investigate materials, details, prototypes and ideas that require further development before they can be reliably realised.
Together, they allow us to work with what is specific, investigate what is unresolved and retain what should not need to be solved again.
